Dissonanze

To be ready for anything, armed with a thirst for knowledge and the desire to explore the frontiers of sound and rhythm. The best possible attitude, actually. In the meantime, here are the maps to the exploration: on Dissonanze homepage, you’ll now find the coordinates and the flavours of all the acts that will take place in the two days of Dissonanze. Useful links, profiles, stories, curious facts – because behind every set lies hidden a whole world of ideas, visions, desires, where the artist brings his or her personal story to the board and sketches, before our very eyes, how it was formed and the developments (and even the challenges that had to be faced). It’s up to you now to decide on your itinerary and begin to conceptualise how you’ll play between one space and another, amongst the marble of the Palazzo dei Congressi and its breathtaking spaces.

Marble, or the right materials to guarantee exceptional acoustics and the most enticing dimension of the listening experience, as in the case of the Aula Magna room. There lie a great many multi-faceted gems to discover. From the shining secrets of Bat For Lashes to the irreverent and moving Micachu & The Shapes and Telepathe; from the Luciferin officiating parade of SoiSong (lovers of Coil and Throbbing Gristle, you’ve been informed!) to the joyful iconoclasm of Senor Coconut, here disguised as Atom; from the charming bleakness between electro and dubstep of Actress, at the height of digital science hatched in the exceptional project Signal. And then more: the post rock Architecture of Mokadelic, the provocation of Salem… Are you ready for the trip?
